Billie Eilish showcased her unique sense of style as she celebrated the launch of her new album in Paris on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old singer hosted a pre-release listening party for her album “Нit Me Hard and Soft” at the cocktail bar Carmen. At the end of the night, Billie left the party in high spirits, donning an oversized checked blazer over a graphic printed T-shirt. She accessorized her outfit with vintage-style glasses and a silver-toned dog tag necklace.
Joining her for the night was her mother, Maggie Baird, 65, who has a background in Broadway performance and theatre and dance.
Earlier in the day, Billie was seen atop a tour bus, engaging with fans as she toured the city. At one point, a French fan handed her a large baguette, which Billie graciously accepted with a smile before continuing her journey.
Earlier, she greeted fans outside NRJ Radio in Paris, wearing an oversized checked blazer with a graphic-printed T-shirt and electric blue shorts, topped with a backwards cap, glasses, and black suede trainers. She animatedly smiled and waved at the gathered crowd.
“Нit Me Hard and Soft” was released two weeks ago, with its lead single “Lunch” debuting on the same day. Billie recently shared that she and her brother, Finneas O’Connell, had a significant disagreement during the recording process over the album’s themes and context. Despite the tension, they worked through their differences, with Billie expressing her mixed feelings about the music-making process.
The album, following her previous records “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” (2019) and “Happier Than Ever” (2021), debuted on May 17 to positive reviews from critics. Billie is set to promote the album on a tour starting September 29 at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City, running through to 2025 and concluding with two shows at the 3Arena in Dublin on July 26 and 27.
