During Warner Bros. Discovery’s Upfront Presentation, it was announced that Jason Momoa is set to serve as the Master of Ceremonies for Discovery’s Shark Week celebration. The premiere date for the Momoa-hosted programming will be disclosed later.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Momoa stated, “As the host of Shark Week, I am beyond excited to take you along on this journey. This project means more to me than a week of talking about sharks. It’s a chance for me to learn and share my connection to these amazing creatures. My love of sharks came long before my time as Aquaman – it began several generations before me.”
Throughout Shark Week, audiences can anticipate a dive into hours of captivating programming as the Fast X star orchestrates events, epic journeys, first-time revelations, and groundbreaking scientific findings. All of these moments will be documented by Discovery’s science and research field teams.
Momoa, known for his role as Aquaman, is set to return to the sea on December 20 in the DC film “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”
