Why is Ariana Grande such a beautiful bride?
A little over 10 days after PEOPLE confirmed that Grande, 27, married Dalton Gomez, 25, in a small ceremony at their home in Montecito, California, the pop star finally shared pictures of her beautiful, custom Vera Wаng Haute wedding dress.
Grande shared several pictures on social media of the lovely setting (with flowers falling from the ceiling) and her stunning wedding day outfit.
Vogue says Wаng promised Grande at the Met Gala a few years ago that she would pick out the pop star’s wedding dress when the time came.
She kept her promise! Wаng made Grande a custom lily-white silk charmeuse empire waist column gown with an open, plunging back. She wore it with a hand-pleated tulle bubble veil that had a bow on it.
With the words “ArianaGrande, to a truly magical muse, what an incredible journey this has been for all of us at Vera Wаng,” the designer wrote below an Instagram picture of Grande wearing the dress. “What a pleasure and an honour! I hope that you and Dalton are always happy. XX V “
The star only wore her engagement ring, wedding band, and a pair of Lorraine Schwartz drop earrings with a pear-shaped diamond and a pearl in the middle.
The earrings’ design went well with her one-of-a-kind engagement ring, which has a pearl and an upside-down diamond, both of which are important to her. That’s what Vogue says the design means: “appreciating the lowest or ‘upside down’ moments in her life and how they have contributed to where and who she is now.”
She wore her favourite shoe style, platform pumps, on her big day. They were by Giuseppe Zanotti. Grande likes to play with sparkle, but Ash K. Holm, Grande’s makeup artist, gave her a more subtle matte eye look and a soft winged cat eye for her wedding day. The singer chose a matte mauve colour for her lipstick.
In May, they made their relationship official by being in the music video for Grande’s song “Stuck with U” with Justin Bieber. In June, they shared a bunch of photos of themselves together on Instagram.
