American music sensation Billie Eilish had to halt an intimate concert in Melbourne on Thursday due to a medical emergency.

 The 17-year-old singer was performing for 500 fans at St Kilda’s Prince Bandroom when a young girl fell seriously ill.

Billie stopped the concert after just three songs to allow the fan to receive medical assistance.

 The sick teen was able to leave the venue before Eilish returned to the stage, expressing her apologies to the audience.

 The concert-goers, mostly competition winners, had queued up since 8 am for the Nova Red Room gig. Billie’s popularity among fans has soared during her Australian concert tour.
