Selena Gomez couldn’t contain her excitement when she saw Billie Eilish rocking her new Rare Beauty line on the cover of Vanity Fair’s March 2021 issue. Sharing a photo of the magazine cover on her Instagram Story, the Rare Beauty founder wrote, “Icon @billieilish is wearing @rarebeauty on the cover of Vanity Fair!! Low key freaking out… You look stunning!”
Gomez reposted the photo from makeup artist Robert Rumsey, who used her newly launched brand to create a natural look for the “Bad Guy” singer, complete with dewy skin, mascara, and a flushed lip.
The Disney Channel alum, aged 28, released her debut makeup line in September, featuring lip products, blush, luminizer, and foundation and concealer available in a diverse range of shades.
This isn’t the first time Gomez has expressed admiration for Eilish. During an interview earlier this year, Gomez praised Eilish’s understanding of the industry and connected with her song “Everything I Wantеd.”
Speaking with Vanity Fair, Eilish discussed her past struggles with body image and reflected on her growth. Despite facing criticism online, Eilish expressed gratitude for being in a healthier mindset now compared to her earlier years.
Eilish’s journey, including her body image struggles, will be further explored in her upcoming Apple TV+ documentary “The World’s a Little Blurry,” set to debut on Feb. 26.
