Robbie shared insights into the film’s premise during the pitch to Mattel, emphasizing the need to honor Barbie’s legacy while acknowledging varying perspectives on the iconic doll.
The storyline follows a doll expelled from ‘Barbieland’ for not meeting perfection standards, embarking on an adventure in the real world. The romantic comedy is scheduled to premiere in the UK and the US on July 21.
