It’s been a rather rapid turnaround, as she says in the video that she started writing the album in September 2023, speaking to her entire team at Republic Records, with whom she has collaborated since 2011.

Ariana Grande has described 'Eternal Sunshine' as a concept album

When asked about the songs: “Some of them are really vulnerable, some of them are like playing the part that people kind of expect me to be sometimes and having fun with that and the rest of it is just kind of also really vulnerable.”

The lyrics and music video for the album “yes, and?”‘s first Һit, “Why do you care so much who’s – I ride?” made this “playing the part” viewpoint more evident. She even uses this remark to startle those who are guessing about her love life.

This is probably a reference to the criticism she’s been receiving on her most recent romance with co-star Ethan Slater from Wicked, whom she met while filming the upcoming movie.

The clip closes with a shot of the crew shaking their heads in shоck and a thunderous round of applause, followed by an emotional Ari who appears relieved and thrilled.

With comments like “march 8th couldn’t get here any soooner” and “ecstatic doesn’t begin to cover it” flooding her page, fans are more than ready for “Eternal Sunshine” to drop.
