Singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has unveiled her latest music video for the single “Chihiro,” featuring actor Nat Wolff.

The 22-year-old Grammy winner directed the video herself, marking the second single from her album “Нit Me Hard and Soft,” following the release of “Lunch.”

In a news release, the Los Angeles native shared that she envisioned a dream-like narrative for the music video, incorporating imagery of long, dark hallways and the shutting of doors to symbolize different corners of the mind.

The video portrays Eilish navigating through institutional hallways before meeting with Wolff. Interspersed clips show Eilish singing in front of a highway overpass, wearing a maroon sweater with horizontal khaki stripes.

The undeniable connection between the two characters is depicted as they venture into a grassy field, engaging in playful wrestling and ultimately embracing each other. Eilish explained that this interaction represents the external expression of internal conflicts, such as fеar, love, or desire.

Within five hours of its release, Eilish’s self-directed video amassed over 1.23 million views on YouTube. Meanwhile, the song has garnered more than 133 million streams on Spotify.

Eilish’s previous single, “Lunch,” released on May 17, has already accumulated over 25 million views on YouTube. She announced the release of “Нit Me Hard and Soft” on Instagram alongside her brother and musical collaborator, Finneas, expressing their excitement for the album.

The siblings, who previously worked on albums like “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” and “Happier Than Ever,” believe that this album best represents Eilish’s essence.

Eilish is scheduled to embark on a North American tour in support of the album this autumn.
