‘We’ll definitely be there. We’re feeling a mix of nerves and excitement,’ shared the 20-year-old Bad Guy sensation in an interview with The Times’ Saturday Review ahead of the event.

Recalling their decision to take on the song, Eilish explained, ‘There was no hesitation when we were asked to do the song, as it was something we were really eager to pursue.’

She emphasized their commitment to creating a track that honored the Bond legacy while staying true to their own style and vision. Despite feeling a weight of responsibility, Eilish and O’Connell deliberately avoided listening to previous Bond themes to ensure their originality.

Their nominated song will be up against tracks from acclaimed artists such as Beyoncé and Lin-Manuel Miranda, among others, in what promises to be a fiercely competitive category.

'If you're looking for inspiration from something, all you're going to do is think: 'Oh that's really cool, let's redo that.' And we didn't want to do that. What we did want to do is make an ode to the movies,' she clarified
