Billie Eilish expresses gratitude for her beloved rescue dog Shark as he celebrates his first birthday.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the “Ocean Eyes” artist commemorated Shark’s special day with a heartfelt post. Sharing a series of endearing photos and videos of Shark, Eilish penned a touching message reflecting on how her furry companion has enriched her life.

“Happy birthday to my sweet rescue baby boy who was born a year ago today,” Eilish wrote in her caption. “You have made my life 1000x better. Happy birthday, little Shark.”

The post features footage capturing Shark’s growth and moments of joy over the past year, including playful antics and cozy cuddles with Eilish.

 Additionally, Eilish shared celebratory clips on her Instagram Story, showering Shark with affectionate messages and urging others to consider fostering or adopting pets during these times.

“If you’re thinking about fostering or adopting … this is your sign,” Eilish encouraged in her post.

Billie Eilish welcomed Shark into her home in April 2020 after caring for him as a foster dog during the pandеmic. Alongside a snapshot of the adorable pup, Eilish declared her ownership with affection, writing, “As for this little nameless monkey … you are miiiiiiiiiiiine!!!”

During a German Telekom Electronic Beats podcast around the same time, Eilish emphasized the importance of fostering animals, advocating for more people to offer their support to pets in need.
