Grammy-winning artist Billie Eilish unveiled her new black hair on Instagram ahead of the commencement of her Happier Than Ever, The World Tour.
The “Bad Guy” singer, known for her diverse hair colors over the years, returned to a classic look with her debut of jet-black tresses.
In the Instagram post on Tuesday, the 20-year-old musician showcased her new hairstyle, wearing a matching black mask and accompanying it with a black square emoji. The post has already amassed over 7.5 million likes, and Eilish playfully commented, “she’s back.”
This social media reveɑl precedes the launch of her Happier Than Ever, The World Tour in New Orleans on Thursday.
Billie’s return to black hair comes only two months after she sported chocolate brown locks and experimented with various colors, including a platinum blonde shag and a brief stint as a redhead last year.
Eilish has consistently showcased her bold style with past hair colors, including all-over ink black, black with neon green roots, bright teal, and blue-gray.
In an October interview with ELLE, Eilish emphasized that her distinct hairstyles do not define her identity, stating, “I’m still the same person. I’m not just different Barbies with different heads.”
Despite the varied styles, the artist remɑins true to herself. Billie Eilish is scheduled to headline the Coachella music festival in April alongside Harry Styles and Kanye West.
