When you hear “Billie Eilish,” your mind likely jumps to her music, cool style, and perhaps the Һit song “Bad Guy” (of course).
What may not immediately come to mind is an image of Billie as a bride with flowing hair, ready to marry someone akin to Timothée Chalamet in Little Wоmen. However, a glance at the latest issue of V magazine might change your perspective.
In celebration of the magazine’s 20th anniversary, they chose Billie as their cover star. Instead of her usual attire of tracksuits and baggy clothes, she’s adorned in a distinctly anachronistic Victorian-era bridal ensemble, complete with a bouquet of lilies fit for a wedding. According to the shoot’s editor and fashion stylist, Alex White, Billie is wearing a Gucci cape, top, and pants, complemented by a Bulgari necklace and a Tiffany & Co. ring.
In other photos from the shoot, Billie veers away from the bridal theme, staying true to her personal style with stylish skull glasses and a long black wig that wouldn’t look out of place on The Ring movie set.
During her interview with Pharrell, Billie discussed her journey in the industry, recalling how some executives doubted her potential. However, she proved them wrong. Reflecting on her early experiences, she said, “I remember the first time I had any sort of meeting with a label or management, I was 13.
I think the only people that didn’t look at me like I was going to have a horrible career were the people that I ended up working with.” She expressed gratitude for the positive experiences she had with her label and team, emphasizing her strong sense of self-determination and clarity about her goals.
