Billie Eilish and FINNEAS Honored at Santa Barbara Film Festival in Gucci Ensembles
Billie Eilish and her older brother FINNEAS received recognition at the 39th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The event, held at the Arlington Theatre in California, celebrated their contributions alongside other notable artists.
Billie, a 22-year-old Gucci brand ambassador, showcased the luxury label in a brown quilted jacket paired with matching shorts. Styled by Andrew Mukamal, she adorned herself with $220 ‘GG Cotton Socks with Web’ and $1,150 ‘Womеn’s Loafer for Horsebit.’ Completing the look, Billie carried the $3,200 ‘Horsebit 1955 Small Shoulder Bag’ and covered her head with the $545 ‘GG-Print with Horsebits Silk Scarf,’ featuring the word ‘WAS’ in red.
Her red-rooted raven locks, arranged under the scarf, gave the illusion of a shorter cut. On the other hand, FINNEAS, a 26-year-old musician, sported a $1,895 Dolce & Gabbana ‘Silk and Cashmere Polo Shirt’ with brown trousers and white loafers.
The Variety Artisans Awards honored Billie and FINNEAS, recognizing their achievements alongside other industry professionals. The siblings, born and raised in LA’s Highland Park, share a close connection with their parents, Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, who serve as Billie’s personal assistant/fan-outreach coordinator and utility player.
The occasion coincided with the fifth anniversary of FINNEAS and YouTuber Claudia Sulewski’s relationship. Their celebratory dinner marked a playful moment as they both declared, ‘Tonight my butthole twinkles as bright as the starry moon.’
Billie, boasting 251.5M social media followers, shared an Instastory shout-out to the British trip-hop band Portishead. Additionally, the brother-sister duo celebrated their song ‘What Was I Made For,’ which received platinum certification in the US and the UK, winning two Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe for its inclusion in the Barbie soundtrack
