Some well-known individuals have a fascination with changing hair colors, as seen in the frequent transformations of the Kardashian wоmen. However, one rising star is considering altering her hair not out of preference for change, but because she dislikes her current hairstyle. In a Buzzfeed interview, Billie Eilish revealed her disdain for her blue hair.

During the interview with Buzzfeed, where Eilish discussed various aspects of her career alongside some adorable puppies, her iconic blue hair emerged as one of the most intriguing topics. Buzzfeed initiated the discussion by questioning Eilish about her decision to dye her hair different shades of blue. However, it turns out she dislikes the color in general, not just when it’s in her hair.

In the interview, Eilish confessed that blue isn’t her preferred color, and she’s uncertain how she ended up dyeing it.

 She explained to Buzzfeed, “I sort of just got used to it for a while before realizing that I looked like someone with dyed hair. I didn’t time that well. Despite having blue hair, I didn’t perceive myself as someone with blue hair.

 I just saw myself as me, with blue hair. Then I realized that, as often happens with people who notice individuals with dyed hair, they probably thought to themselves, ‘Oh, she has blue hair.’”

While Eilish has come to terms with the fact that she indeed has blue hair, the problem is that it’s not going away anytime soon. It’s not due to her reluctance to dye it. 

She explained to Buzzfeed that the person who dyed it last October used a permanent dye, making it extremely difficult to remove the blue. Despite spending hours in a salon chair attempting to remove the color, she has been unsuccessful.

However, there is a silver lining in this blue situation: Eilish still looks fantastic with blue hair.

 Additionally, she’s not alone in her affinity for the hue. Although blue may not be Eilish’s favorite color (quite the opposite, it seems), it appears to be a popular choice among celebrities at the moment. Could Eilish unintentionally have sparked a trend?
