Amid swirling rumors of marital troubles with husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez is prioritizing her family. The superstar was recently spotted spending quality time with her 16-year-old daughter, Emme, after abruptly canceling her “This Is Me… Live” tour. The mother-daughter duo was photographed engaging in conversation and browsing vendors at a flea market in Los Angeles on Sunday.
An eyewitness told Page Six that Lopez, 54, appeared subdued during their 45-minute visit but showed affection by wrapping her arm around Emme’s shoulder at one point. The “Let’s Get Loud” singer, who also has a son Max, Emme’s twin, looked stylish in a houndstooth blazer, black top, and flared jeans. She accessorized with aviator sunglasses and a black Birkin bag, and notably, she was still wearing her wedding ring.
Emme kept it casual in a graphic tee, baggy denim shorts, sneakers, a baseball cap, and headphones. This sighting comes just days after the “Hustlers” actress decided to cancel her summer tour to focus on her personal life, following reports suggesting a potential divorce from Affleck, 51.
In her “On the JLo” newsletter, Lopez expressed her regret to fans, stating, “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”
Live Nation confirmed the tour cancellation, emphasizing that Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.
Later, Lopez was seen leaving Mihran K. dance studio in Burbank, California, looking somber but managing a brief smile as she said goodbye to her team before departing in a white vehicle.
