Katy Perry has reportedly arrived in Melbourne for her upcoming performance at an exclusive event this weekend.

 Radio host Ben Fordham disclosed on Friday that the American pop star, aged 39, had discreetly landed in Australia and is set to perform at billionaire Richard Pratt’s mansion on Saturday night. 

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is expected to be among the attendees. Concurrently, former rival Taylor Swift is gearing up for a sold-out concert in Sydney.

The history of the feud between the two singers traces back to 2014, with speculations revolving around John Mayer as a possible catalyst for their issues. The feud escalated as both artists embarked on world tours at the same time, competing for background dancers. Swift accused Perry of attempting to sabоtage her arena tour by hiring dancers from under her. The dispute persisted for years, with Katy Perry expressing forgiveness and a desire to move on in 2017. Despite Katy’s attempts to mend fences, it wasn’t until June 2019 that a photo of cookies with the caption ‘Peace at last’ indicated a potential resolution to their long-standing feud.
