The pop star, who recently became emotional on American Idol, complemented the stunning ensemble with dazzling rhinestone tassel drop earrings. 

Katy styled her black locks in chic curls and opted for drɑmɑtic lashes and a matte pink lipstick to complete her glamorous look.

The event honored comedy legend Carol Burnett, celebrating her 90th birthday and illustrious career. 

Perry, seen mingling with actress Allison Janney, joined other luminaries like Cher, Julie Andrews, Kristin Chenoweth, Kristen Wiig, Sofia Vergara, and Billy Porter. Burnett, known for The Carol Burnett Show and various other projects, received multiple awards, including six Emmys.

Katy’s appearance followed a poignant moment on American Idol, where contestant Trey Louis revealed his motivation for auditioning, having survived a school shooting. 

The emotional revelation moved Perry to tears as she expressed her frustration with the state of the country and emphasized the need for change.
