Katy Perry flaunted her sensational figure in a black cut-out gown, sharing Instagram snaps before her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The 39-year-old pop singer, who recently revealed her departure from American Idol after seven seasons, showcased a long-sleeved figure-hugging outfit with revealing splits, adorned with small butterfly-shaped hardware.

Perry’s stylish look, orchestrated by Tatiana Waterford, was elevated with black towering heels and complemented by drɑmɑtic silver hoop earrings. The singer, also known as Katheryn Hudson, styled her dark locks in an edgy updo with mini bangs framing her face.

In the caption to her 206 million followers, Perry confirmed her exit from American Idol, listing it as her ‘last season.’ 

During the talk show appearance, she disclosed her decision to leave, citing a forthcoming music festival in Brazil and hinting at a desire to see the world and create new music.

Perry, a judge on the show since its 2018 reboot, addressed her departure during the interview with Jimmy Kimmel, expressing her love for the show but indicating that this season would likely be her last. 

Perry faced challenges during the previous season, including controversy and criticism. Sources revealed that she felt ‘thrown under the bus’ by producers, leading to her decision to exit.
