In London, Orlando Bloom caught attention as he appeared on the streets in an elf costume while filming his upcoming Prime Video action-comedy, “Deep Cover,” on Thursday.
The 47-year-old Hollywood actor sported a striking green and red ensemble, featuring a color-blocked top with a matching collar, cut-out zigzag cuff detailing, and red cropped trousers.
Underneath the vibrant trousers, Orlando wore striped tights and accessorized with a red bumbag.
Completing his elf-themed attire, he concealed his short dark hair under a bold elf hat and opted for drɑmɑtic black curly-toe boots. Ahead of filming, Bloom covered his face with a long black hooded coat while walking a dog on set.
During the action scenes, Orlando was seen holding up a large ‘reduced sale 50% off’ sign, engaging in a lively dance performance.
Afterward, he took a serious phone call and scanned his surroundings. Following the conversation, he folded up the large ‘sale’ sign and discarded it in a public bin.
Orlando appeared to be in high spirits, removing his amusing hat and joining the crew for a chat after the take.
The cast of the new film, “Deep Cover,” includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Sean Bean from Game of Thrones, and Nick Mohammed from Ted Lasso.
The movie follows three improv actors hired by the police to stage low-level stings, leading them deep into the London criminal underworld due to their instinct to ‘always sɑy yes’ without breɑking character.
This comes after Orlando’s first appearance in character for “Deep Cover” earlier in the week, where he looked distinctly different with long, straggly hair and stubble for the outdoor scenes.
Last month, Orlando revisited his iconic Lord of the Rings role by wearing prosthetic ears in images shared on Instagram with his fiancée, Katy Perry.
The couple, celebrating their anniversary, donned formal wear with alien-like prosthetics, creating a spaced-out and starry-eyed look that garnered over 555,000 likes on social media.
