Following Melissa’s enthusiastic expression of fandom for Billie, the 22-year-old singer–songwriter playfully autographed the 53-year-old actress’ forehead. The surprising moment had viewers on Netflix laughing and sparked jokes on social media about Melissa’s portrayal as a Billie Eilish superfan.

Adding to the humor, Melissa disclosed that she had collaborated with Billie’s mother, Maggie Baird, an actress, teacher, and musician, serving as her improv coach during pregnancy. Despite a light-hearted mix-up about their previous meetings, including encounters with Melissa’s daughters and a dog, the interaction remained jovial.

Melissa, thrilled to share the stage with Billie, humorously corrected her when the singer mentioned it was nice to meet her, citing multiple previous meetings, even during Billie’s time in utero.
